Introducing our new North West Representative

Picture
Bury Fairtrade Steering Group's Chairman - Bernard Emblem (bottom right) has been elected as the new North West Representative on the National Campaigner Committee (NCC).

The NCC is a group of elected Fairtrade campaigners who represent the views of campaigners from 12 regions across the UK.

The Committee helps to mould the direction of the Fairtrade Foundation, represents campaigners at a governance level and also feeds into the development of Fairtrade campaigns and resources.

On being elected to the committee Bernard said "I am totally committed to the principles of Fairtrade; I am excited about this chance to learn more, and I promise to do my very best to represent the North West effectively at the NCC."
