Monday 25th February
Red Rose Over 60s Club - Mosses Community Centre.
Wine and chocolate tasting leaflets. Fairtrade product prizes for a Bingo Session.
Tuesday 26th February
Fairfield Hospital: Fairtrade Product Tasting (Wine Choc bars and biscuits) and distribution of beverages to wards and departments to encourage use of Fairtrade products for breaks.
Wednesday 27th February
United Reformed Church. Midday Lunch - Fairtrade Event.
Saturday 2 March
Bury Fairtrade and Local Produce Fair - The Met will be hosting our first Fairtrade Fair, from 11.am, with the mayor visiting at noon. A chance to experience the amazing quality and variety of Fairtrade and locally produced goods that are available in the region, including food and drink, handicrafts, clothing, bags and fashion accessories.
Official opening at 12pm by Mayor Cllr Joan Grimshaw With entertainment from local choirs – Inspire Community Voices and Bury Acapeelers
Fairtrade Concert - In the evening we'll be celebrating with a fantastic World Music concert - 8pm
Featuring Beating Wing Orchestra, Heritage Survival and Satellite State Disko Commissioned by Manchester International Festival, Beating Wing Orchestra bring together diverse cultures from refugees from Manchester's rich mix of communities; Satellite State Disko mix bawdy Slavic drinking songs, Ottoman choral and Nomad ska; and Zimbabwe's Heritage Survival play Afro-fusion, drawing on modern influences while upholding traditional rhythms.

Sunday 3rd March
St Andrew’s Radcliffe - Fairtrade Sunday service. They will be having a fairtrade baking competition. People have to use as many fairtrade ingredients as possible in their baking. There will be a fairtrade prize for the best cake / scone/ soup / whatever. The congregation can enjoy eating whatever has been produced!!!

Friday 8 and Saturday 9 March
The annual two day publicity event at the Millgate Centre near the Oxfam entrance. We meet hundreds of shoppers there every year, ply them with Fairtrade chocolate, then chat about the work of the group and the Fairtrade movement.
Holy Cross Sixth Form College
Big Brew for staff where students serve fairtrade tea and coffee and there will be selection of fairtrade cakes.
Raffle of 6 Fairtrade easter eggs from The Real Easter Egg Company.
Stall selling Fairtrade snacks during our annual college production of The Sound of Music.

Bury URC will be having a Fairtrade stall on Wednesdays, Saturdays and Sundays of FT fortnight. They have begun a new venture of a soup and bread lunch on the first Wednesday of the month 12.15 – 1.15 pm.
