Fairtrade Rocks!

Picture

Newlyweds Rosie and Marc Hall lost no time in showing their support for Bury’s new Fairtrade Garden when they tied the knot at their Rock’n’Roll wedding at Bury Registry Office. “Fairtrade rocks!” announced Rosie.

The couple then spent a couple of days at their home in Peel Brow before jetting off for a two week honeymoon in Florida.

Bury’s Fairtrade Garden occupies a prominent position in front of the Town Hall, and was established in in collaboration with Bury in Bloom, Forever Manchester, and Bury’s Community Fund.

Bernard Emblem, Chair of Bury Fairtrade commented “We’re very proud of our beautiful new garden, which celebrates Bury’s status as a Fairtrade Borough. It’s a permanent reminder of the town’s commitment to Fairtrade. Thanks to all concerned!”
